If you don’t believe in God, the following short article will show you why you must believe in Jesus. Believing in him includes that he is the son of God which by its very nature points to the existence of God.
So you “do” believe in God.
The existence of Christians in the world stems from precise moments in the walk of Jesus here on earth in the flesh. For example, just look at the book of John chapter 11 where Lazarus was six days dead and Jesus brought him back to life.
Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead. And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent ye may believe; nevertheless let us go unto him. John 11:14-15 KJV

This and many other miracles were witnessed by many individuals. Those near Jesus at that time did not need great faith in something invisible, intangible. Jesus was there with them showing daily the evidence that he was and is the son of God.
“Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them was written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.” (John 21:25).

When you read through the book of acts, you will see that those people who were witness to Jesus Christ’s earthly ministry had faith and life changing experience through him. Their beliefs were adjusted, and their lifestyles changed because of Jesus. Everything was different for them after that. They even performed miracles just like Jesus.
Examples of miracles recorded in from Acts of the Apostles:
- Peter’s shadow has the power to heal. Acts 5:15
- After Philip taught an Ethiopian eunuch about Jesus and baptized him the Holy Spirit snatched Philip and took him away to Azotus. Acts 8:39
- Paul brings back to life a young man who had fallen asleep and fell to his death out a third story window. Acts 20:9-12

- Jesus followers were witnessed healing the blind (Acts 9:17-18), the paralyzed (9:33-35), the lame (14:7-9), the possessed (16:16-18), and even a man with severe diarrhea. (28:7-8)
- Jesus followers experienced being miraculously freed from jail (Acts 5:17-25; 12:5-11; 16:25-30), receiving the Holy Spirit at Pentecost (2:2-6), healing face cloths or aprons (19:11-12) and powerful that shook the earth. (4:31)
The New Testament is evidence that the followers of Jesus so wholeheartedly believed on him that they risked their lives, sold their properties and gave the money to ministry. They found themselves coexisting in a new, royal priesthood, brotherhood, family they had never experienced before. Those historically accurate events are the proof that Jesus was here in the flesh, He did perform all those miracles and the witnesses believed on him through that experience. How much easier should it be for us to believe knowing that all those men believed that were eyewitnesses to Jesus’ time on earth?
So you “do” believe in God.
Now, Jesus expressed that his followers, his believers, later to called “Christians” should go forth through all the earth and tell people of the good news that Christ came, Died for our sins, and was risen again so that we may accept him, believe on him, and be forgiven/redeemed of our sins which is the only way to life eternal instead of eternal damnation. Believing on Jesus and walking in the Holy Spirit as they did in the New Testament qualifies us for entrance to the Kingdom of God.
