Everywhere I go, it seems Christians who mean well, want to spread the gospel, and receive salvation through faith. However, a statement that I hear them say quite often is, “God loves you” or “Jesus loves you”.
I don’t want to say that they’re wrong. However, if the person only hears this statement and continues on their way, we have done them a disservice.
Let me explain:
People all over the world are saying “God loves you” and “Jesus loves you”. People should be able to intelligently navigate the idea of God loving them.

There is danger in not being thorough.
We need to be delicate with how we go about teaching the world about God. It’s dangerous to assert absolutes to people who don’t know God. Those who haven’t developed the discipline of studying the Word of God and praying for discernment, risk misinterpreting the message.
If I said told someone, “Jesus loves you”, they’d risk believing to be loved of God is to be safe. They would believe there to be no harm in continuing down the same sinful track. Those who study the word to show themselves approved (2 Timothy 2:15), know this is not true.
Introducing Jesus to someone, like in this video, is to properly handle the valuable gift of the Gospel. This enables them to understand the consequences in continuing life on their current path without God. This approach hopefully induces some motivation for them to investigate the matter further.
God’s love is given by God to those he chooses just like He chose with Jacob and Esau.
